Contact Kraft/Nabisco and let them know that there are LOYAL Nabisco customers that want to BUY Ideal Bars! They didn't make them in the summer, so when it cooled down, we immediately started asking for them. I would start with me first and the pass them down to the next generations! i thought my husband and i were the only ones that missed these cookins, boy was i wrong. Once I tried to carefully dig out the peanut butter then eat the cookie. I thought they might only be a local New England product but see now it was nation wide. I still crave them and will support any effort to making them available again. I would love to see Nabisco bring them back for my family. Lets band together!!! I remember my sister's boyfriend was incredulous (although he should not have been given stories that I have since heard). I just got home from the store. They were by far the best store bought cookie EVER made. I love Ideal cookies!!! I used to sell Nabisco cookies, and Ideal bars were a great seasonal item, just like Mallomars and Pinwheels. The problem, you mightve guessed, is its name. Nabisco is owned by Kraft Foods. Not only does it cue back to Hydrox, but its a fun, whimsical name that really works with the Keebler imagery.
